The only reason to keep CTRL+A as it is - is that it is an established
standard. Almost all apps that I have use it. I don't think this proposal
will be taken seriously if we change this one. It is the same as trying to
change CTRL+Q for Quit, or CTRL+S for save.

I wish Everest (which is what I use) supported this. It would be very
useful for digesting and replying to mail.

I thought it was funny myself. I hope the German developers do support
this standard. We have a few of the best ones here on the list and
arrangements are being made to echo the list on MAUS, so the interest is
there. We are certainly taking the German point of view into
consideration.

I forgot about the SHift+Help one. I'll add it to my propsal. I don't
understand the other two.
